Alain Leroy recently became head of IT at Equans Airport Systems, a division of Equans Digital at Equans Belux.
Equans specialises in passenger and baggage flow control and management systems. The various digital solutions are used by around 50 airports worldwide.
Alain Leroy brings a wealth of experience to the role. He began his career at Siemens and then moved to Sybase. In the spring of 2001, he became general manager of the cleaning company Qualité & Maintenance, before moving to Microsoft four years later, where he rose to the position of partner & development manager. At the beginning of 2011, he became solution sales manager for data centres and Office 365. He took this expertise to Bank De Groof, where he oversaw the Windows migration. He went on to hold various top IT positions at EPC Familia, Eloy Group, RMB Regie and Seris Benelux.
Alain Leroy was also a director of the CIO Club de Wallonie for seven years.
