Bart Kerkhofs has been appointed director of digital technology at Tata Steel Netherlands. The Belgian national joins from Bridgestone, where he spent eight years as vice president of information technology for the EMIA region (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa).
Bart Kerkhofs, who holds degrees in both industrial and civil engineering, has a wealth of experience. He worked for seven years at Procter & Gamble, rising to the position of IT section manager. In 2003, he moved to the supplier side at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In his last job there, as account delivery executive, he was responsible for the €1 billion contract with Proximus for the Flemish Government. After two years at DXC Technology, he joined Bridgestone.
