The paths of CIO Peter Vermeylen and the University Hospital of Antwerp are parting. He had been working for two years at UZA and announced it on LinkedIn:
‘Two years ago, I immersed myself in the world of innovative healthcare @UZA. It’s been a privilege to lead and shape the digital transformation in a complex environment and to build bridges between business and technology. Beginning this year, as the digital business strategy started shifting, a difference in vision soon became inevitable. What started a promising journey turned out to be a short and intense journey with many key take aways. As of now, UZA & myself have agreed to part ways. The decision to step away has not been easy. Yet it is the most honest and constructive choice for me to make at this point. A decision that opens new perspectives and brings fresh energy. A heartfelt thank you to all the colleagues, partners, and teams I had the pleasure of working with. Your support and collaboration made it a journey to remember.’
Previously Peter Vermeylen had been working at Pioneer Europe, LMS, Cerba Research and Ardena.
