Karen Van de Woestyne succeeds Karin Van Hoecke as general manager of digital transformation and data. She had already been working at KBC for a year as general manager of Group Ecosystems. Karin Van Hoecke is moving to Prague, where she will become innovation leader at the Czech KBC subsidiary CSOB bank.
Karen Van de Woestyne is a civil engineer and economist by training. She ran her own real estate agency for quite some time, but moved to Gerantis Artevelde as chief operating officer in 2022. A year later, she was recruited by Fiberklaar (now Proximus) as director of business development, marketing and communications.
