14 years after leaving HP, Raf Cuyvers is returning as country manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. HP has, in fact, opted once again for a country-based structure.
Raf Cuyvers worked for HP for almost 20 years, rising to the position of General Manager for Belux. During that time, he also recruited Koen Van Beneden, who went on to become Vice President responsible for Northern Europe. He has now asked Raf Cuyvers to lead HP Belux from 1 December. “The mentor now reports to the person he trained. So the circle is complete,” says Raf Cuyvers. For the past four years, he has led the distributor Copaco as managing director.
The 58-year-old economist, Raf Cuyvers, also founded the company myCareerCompanion at the end of 2020. He has served as chairman of the board of directors there in recent years. The HR tech platform is led by co-founder and CEO Sofie Priem.
