Karin Van Hoecke, the general manager digital transformation and data at KBC becomes the new president of Coderdojo Belgium. She takes over from Martine Tempels, who founded the organisation at the end of 2012. Since then, thousands of young people have learned programming.
Last year Karin Van Hoecke was elected Chief Digital Officer of the Year and she will also give a presentation at the CDO gala on 23 October in Brussels.
Martine Tempels received the title of ICT Woman of the Year in 2012 as executive vice president of Telenet Business. She was also a particularly inspiring president of Coderdojo for 12 years.
