After more than 18 years at KBC, Katrien Dewijngaert has opted for a role as chief operations officer at Brokers in Excellence, a rapidly expanding Belgian insurance brokerage group, driven by regionally leading insurance brokers. Her task will be to make the group tech enabled for the future.
Katrien Dewijngaert’s most recent position at KBC was general manager of strategy and transformation. She joined the banking and insurance group in the summer of 2007 and quickly rose to a senior position. In 2013, she co-founded Start IT @KBC, which supports start-ups.
Koen Delvaux also recently left KBC Bank to become head of the digital transformation office at Ethias.
