Philippe Caby is the new CTO at French-language public broadcaster RTBF. He succeeds Cécile Gonfroid, who is retiring.
For Philippe Caby, this is a new chapter, as he comes from the pharmaceutical world. He started his career at Lucent Technologies but moved to GSK at the end of 2000, where he rose to become IT director. In 2020, he took on the role of CIO at Centreert and the Jolimont hospital group. There, he led the merger with the Ambroise Paré hospital, which was transformed into Helora.
Cécile Gonfroid worked at RTBF for 38 years, where she rose from sports journalist to CTO. In 2021, she was voted Chief Digital Officer of the Year.
