After more than three years serving as Chief Information Officer, Pierre-André Rulmont is leaving the Belgian national railway company NMBS. He was also CEO of its digital subsidiary Ypto.
Pierre-André Rulmont was voted Chief Digital Officer of the Year in 2019. At the time, he was working for the Brussels transport company STIB and won his award for his vision of Mobility as a Service, which is now being put into practice. He worked there for almost 10 years as vice president of Information Systems. Prior to that, he earned his spurs at WorldCom and Level3, but especially at Proximus, where he rose to become CIO and CTO of the international subsidiary BICS.
