Stijn Eyckmans becomes the Global Transformation and Technology Officer at the global Fracht Group. The company specialises in complex logistics solutions for heavy loads. The organisation has 150 branches in over 70 countries, with its headquarters in Basel. It employs nearly 3,000 people and generates a turnover of around 2 billion euros.
Stijn Eyckmans is tasked with developing the group’s digital and AI strategy and transforming Fracht from a traditional forwarder into an Intelligent Forwarder over the next three years.
He has previously worked at HP, Econocom and Inetum, among others, but left the supplier side in 2023 to become Chief Digital and Information Officer at Manuport Logistics. Since the start of this year, he has been a strategic advisor at Polytra, the Belgian branch of the Fracht Group in Antwerp.
