Johnny Smets has left Inetum Belgium after five years as general manager and will be replaced by Eupen-based Thomas Breuer.
Inetum Belgium’s turnover did remain stable in recent years at almost 300 million euros but profitability fell sharply: from 21 million euros in 2021 to 3 million in 2023, according to Companyweb. That led to cuts. For example, it still has 1,200 employees, more than 250 fewer than in 2023.
Thomas Breuer was CEO of Devoteam Germany until recently. He had also worked at Accenture, CGI/Logica and Atos.
