On the eve of the new strategic plan to be launched at the end of February, Proximus CEO Stijn Bijnens has found internal replacements for Antonietta Mastroianni and Anne-Sophie Lotgering, who left the company last year. Renaud Tilmans will become the B2B lead and will therefore be responsible for all ICT services for businesses. Remarkably, he has been with Proximus for over 32 years. In his most recent job, he was Enterprise Telco Services & Operations Lead. Fabrice De Windt will take over Proximus NXT and report to Renaud Tilmans.
IT will have a relatively young new boss in Jeroen Verbruggen. He has been with Proximus for almost nine years and was previously Digital & IT Lead. He brings experience from The Boston Consulting Group, Glaxo SmithKline and Maxeda.
Donatienne Goemans is also joining the Leadership Squad and will be Customer Operations Lead. She has also been with Proximus for seven years and was in charge of operations. She also previously worked at The Boston Consulting Group. The consumer division will continue to be led by Jim Casteele, who will now also be in charge of the AI transformation programme.
The other executive members remain unchanged. Ben Appel is responsible for Corporate Affairs, Nicolas Gaertner for finance and Jan Van Alcoleyen for human resources. Geert Standaert will also continue to manage the 5G and fibre network, including wholesale services. Jan Van Alcoleyen for human resources. Geert Standaert will also continue to manage the 5G and fibre network, including wholesale services. He has also been with Proximus for almost 19 years and has seen four CEOs come and go.
It is striking that there is only one woman among the nine members of Proximus’ Leadership Squad. Anne-Valérie Heushen has been appointed Secretary General and will report to Stijn Bijnens and provide support to the Board of Directors.
Proximus Global’s activities will continue to be managed by Seckin Arikan.
