Gérard Purnode, who was nominated for CDO of the Year in 2024, has been appointed chief information officer at the Eloy Group in Sprimont. Eloy specialises in construction projects and water treatment. It employs around 500 people and has a turnover of 100 million euros.
Gérard Purnode brings a wealth of experience to the role. He previously served as CIO at ArcelorMittal Liège. At the NRB Group (now Keyes), he became Director of Delivery and Operational Transformation. In the autumn of 2017, this charming and empathetic man was recruited by the John Cockerill Group, where he became Chief Information Officer.
