Joost Rommelaere has been appointed SAP Cybersecurity Project Manager at Ypto, the digital division of the national railway company NMBS.
Civil engineer Joost Rommelaere has an impressive track record. He began his career in 1990 at Monsanto. After stints at ABB and Tate & Lyle, he became European IT Director at Pioneer.
In the summer of 2007, he was recruited by the Tessenderlo Group as Chief Information Officer. After stints at Teramo and Johnson & Johnson, he became CIO once again, this time at PSA, where he rose to become Regional CIO responsible for Mediterranean countries and the Americas. Since the spring of 2023, he has been Group Head of IT and Digital at WDP, a company specialising in port warehouses.
