Laurent Hublet is the new Minister for the Economy in the Brussels government. He has extensive experience with digital projects.
Laurent Hublet, from Uccle, represents the Les Engagés party in the government. He worked for the Boston Consulting Group for almost eight years on various transformation projects. At the end of 2014, he became an advisor to the cabinet of Vice-President Alexander De Croo. Three years later, he became managing director of BeCentral, the digital co-working space that housed around 60 start-ups. Since the spring of 2025, he has been a partner at the consultancy firm Roland Berger.
