Following all the hype surrounding SpaceX, it’s an excellent idea to take a closer look at what the far-reaching impact of aerospace on digital society will be. And who better to explain this than aerospace engineer Stijn Ilsen? He will deliver the keynote speech at the Chief Digital Officer Awards gala on 22 October at the Docks Event Hall in Brussels.
Stijn Ilsen has been working in the aerospace sector for almost 20 years. He started at the European Space Agency (ESA) working on a study for a European manned mission to the Moon. He then worked for Airbus/EADS on the HERSCHEL space telescope across Europe. He is currently working at Redwire Space on Belgian satellites.
This keynote is designed for leaders, teams and organisations who feel that the status quo is no longer an option. For anyone who dares to ask: what if we did things differently? What if we thought bigger? Whether you’re leading a multinational or an innovation team of five people: the principles of moonshot thinking are universal. We’ll delve deep into the world of space exploration, where innovation is pushed to the absolute limit, and discover what non-space companies can learn from this extreme approach.
