The CDO of the Year Awards are pleased to welcome Béatrice de Mahieu as a new member of the jury. With a career spanning digital transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship and executive leadership, she brings a wealth of experience to a panel composed of former laureates and leading figures from Belgium’s digital ecosystem.
Today, Béatrice serves as Deputy CEO of Finance & Invest Brussels, where she helps support and finance value-creating companies across the Brussels Region. Throughout her career, she has held leadership positions at organizations such as Telenet, Microsoft and Lagardère, contributing to growth strategies, innovation programs and digital transformation initiatives.
She is also well known in Belgium’s startup and innovation landscape. Between 2018 and 2025, she successively led Co.Station Belgium, one of the country’s leading innovation hubs, and BeCode, the social impact organization dedicated to upskilling and reskilling talent for the digital economy.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, Béatrice currently serves as a non-executive director at Proximus Group, Trividend, akkanto, The Shift and the Les Petits Riens Foundation, while also contributing to several investment committees focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.
Strengthening the Belgian Digital Community
The addition of Béatrice de Mahieu reflects the ambition of the CDO of the Year Awards to bring together a jury that represents the diversity and richness of Belgium’s digital landscape.
Each year, the awards recognize outstanding digital leaders who are driving transformation, innovation and business impact within their organizations. Particular attention is given to identifying and celebrating talent from both the Dutch-speaking and French-speaking communities, ensuring a truly national perspective on digital leadership.
